Blog Seventeen: The Doom Scroll

What’s up, my fellow ghouls, fools, and owls! 🦉

For the first time in forever (elsa’s voice), I’m not writing this blog in the dead of night—buuuuut I did wake up late after spending all night doom-scrolling through the internet. 😜

So, here’s the deal: I’ve decided to pivot where I publish my short stories, poems, and other creative works. Recently, I discovered some interesting platforms like Medium and revisited sites I already knew about, like Tapas. Turns out, you can freely post novels on Tapas! (Everyone but me probably knew that, but whatever!) I’m super excited to give these platforms a try, but I figured if I’m going to publish there, I should dive into some of the stories first to get a feel for what’s out there.

Haven’t started reading much yet, aside from Bootcamp on Wattpad. Reading that sparked a memory of those Japanese sites that are kinda similar—places where you can freely write and post stories, but in Japanese. It’s been ages since I’ve visited those (seriously, not since the start of the year), so it’s about time I circle back to them, too.

That’s all for now! I’ll keep you updated when there’s more to share. じゃね、❤️!
