Blog Ten: Setting Myself Up

Helloooooo, what’s up, people? I'm back again, determined to keep up with these updates—let’s do this!

So, I realized toward the end of last week that I’ve taken on a mammoth load of projects, and it’s time to make some smart cuts. I refuse to let the quality suffer, so I’m streamlining things. First off, I’ve decided to cut down the number of coloring pages I create per month to two... starting next year. As for the graphic novel shorts, I need to start planning and creating them 2–3 months ahead of time. The more pages and complexity, the longer it’ll take, so I’m pacing myself to make sure they come out just right.

For any stories that I want to turn into illustrated pieces, I’m giving myself at least two months to plan, and I’ll limit those to about 2–4 times a year. I still have mini-projects I want to tackle on top of the bigger ones (I mean, I’ve got four graphic novels and a novel I’ve been working on since what feels like forever). Plus, I want to make room for practicing figure drawing, still lifes, settings—everything! I’m giving it my all and hoping it’ll turn out not just good, but great.

That’s all from me for now. Till next time, じゃあね! 💖
